We care about your whole health, which is why we also offer extra services at no cost to you.

Additional benefits

These are offered to CareOregon Advantage members. They are not covered by original Medicare.

Prescription drug coverage. CareOregon Advantage covers a wide range of prescription drugs through Medicare Part D. Click here to see which prescription drugs are covered.

Over-the-counter (OTC) debit card. The CareOregon Advantage OTC benefit is a pre-loaded debit card ready to use at participating retailers, including Rite Aid, Walmart and Walgreens. Choose from more than 90,000 eligible health items, including pain relief medication, cold and allergy medications, dental and oral care products, eye and ear care, vitamins, first aid and foot care. Through four installments of $130 (one each calendar quarter), you’ll have $520 per year to buy items you’d normally pay for out of your own pocket! Get eligible items delivered to your home at no additional cost through NationsOTC. Click here to see frequently asked questions about the OTC card.

Vision coverage. Get a routine eye exam and basic lenses, including standard progressive lenses, at no cost. Your vision benefit also includes either $175 to put toward frames, or $100 toward contact lenses, every year.

Gym membership or home fitness kits. With the Silver&Fit Exercise and Healthy Aging Program, you’ll have access to a gym membership at a Silver&Fit fitness club, YMCA or exercise center near you that participates in the program. You can also get two home fitness kits per year if you can’t get to a fitness center or want to work out at home. Visit the Silver&Fit website at silverandfit.com or call their Customer Service at 877-427-4788 (TTY 711) to learn more.

Meal delivery program. After you are discharged from an inpatient stay in a hospital, rehab or skilled nursing facility, you are eligible to receive up to 14 days of meals delivered to your home (maximum 28 meals, or two meals per day). Please call Customer Service for more information.

Care coordination. If you feel confused and overwhelmed by your health issues, or you have non-medical issues that affect your health, please tell us. We can assign a person from our Care Coordination team to provide special help for you. We’ll work with your providers and connect you to services so you can feel confident and secure about your well-being. Call Customer Service to ask how you can get connected to our Care Coordination team.

Nurse advice line. Have a question about a specific health issue? Need to know whether you should go to the doctor? Call our free nurse advice line at 866-209-0905 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Check-ups with your doctor. Preventive visits — such as an annual physical and an annual wellness visit — are fully covered.

Flu shots and pneumonia vaccines. Get your flu shot — it’s free and simple! Flu season can last from September to April. Your flu shot can be the difference between getting sick and staying healthy. Talk with your doctor about whether you might need a pneumonia vaccine, too.

As a CareOregon Advantage member, you are “dual-eligible” for both Medicare AND Medicaid benefits. Medicaid may cover some benefits that Medicare doesn’t, including mental health, dental health, acupuncture and chiropractic care. Check with your Medicaid plan for more information about the benefits they cover.

Incentives: get paid for taking care of yourself!

As a CareOregon member, you receive many extra incentives. Watch your mail for your invitation to participate. Or, contact us to learn more!
